Thurston butchers’ experienced butchers will guide you through the breakdown process of a lamb side and teach you the best way to butcher a shoulder and loin. You will learn all the tips and tricks from the experts and be able to ask any questions you may have.
After the butchery session, you will spend the afternoon in the outdoor kitchen BBQing with our chef, learning the best ways to cook the various cuts with plenty of tasty recipes. Recipes may include Yoghurt marinated slow cooked shoulder, Lamb Ribs with spiced BBQ sauce, Lamb neck skewers and Lamb Noisette.
You will get hands-on experience creating delicious dishes that you can easily recreate at home. The course will run from 10 am to 2 pm, and all the ingredients, equipment, and refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
